WHERE: Skylight Music Theatre is located in the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway, second floor, Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward.
ABOUT: Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee’s only professional music theatre company, was founded in 1959 and presents the full spectrum of music theatre. Annie will be presented November 17 through December 23, 2017.

Annie Casting Call Press Release
Milwaukee, Wis. (April 7, 2017) — Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee’s only professional music theatre company, is holding an open call audition for girls ages 8-15 for their holiday production of Annie, November 17 through December 23, 2017. Auditions are Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway.
Skylight is seeking the roles of Annie, July, Pepper, Molly, Kate, Tessie, and Duffy (these roles will be double cast). Young performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Rehearsals begin October 24, 2017. Annie runs from November 17 to December 23, 2017.

Children auditioning should arrive 15 minutes before their appointment time to fill out an audition form with a parent or guardian. Please bring a performance resume if possible. **All those auditioning must also bring a headshot or snapshot photo to turn in with audition form.**
Performers should prepare one song to sing. Bring sheet music, if possible. A pianist will accompany performers. Any song may be used in the audition. If a song suggestion is needed, Sam Nykiel, Skylight’s artistic administrator provided the song list below. Sheet music will be available for these songs:
Hard Knock Life (Annie)
Over the Rainbow (Wizard of Oz)
Castle on a Cloud (Les Mis)
Callbacks will take place on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22. Callback notification will take place the week of April 17.
The Broadway Theatre Center is located at 158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee Wis. In the Historic Third Ward. Follow signs for sign-in location upon arrival. Please leave ample time to find parking. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Skylight Music Theatre’s 2017-18 Season
Skylight’s 2017-18 season opens in fall with Hot Mikado (Sept. 29 – Oct. 15), a fresh, swinging twist on the Gilbert & Sullivan classic. Just in time for the holidays, Skylight presents the Broadway favorite Annie (Nov. 17 – Dec. 23), the first time this Tony Award-winning show has been on the Skylight stage. In 2018, Skylight presents the off-Broadway musical by Milwaukee native James Valcq, Zombies from the Beyond (Feb.2 – 18, 2018), followed by a reimagining of the Offenbach opera, The Tales of Hoffmann (March 16 – 29, 2018).
