Synopsis Summary

Passions run high onstage and off as a tempestuous couple struggle to present a musical version of Taming of the Shrew. Blending the irreverent humor of William Shakespeare and Cole Porter, this brilliant battle of the sexes won the very first Tony Award for Best Musical and is considered one of Broadway’s great treasures, featuring unforgettable classics like Why Can’t You Behave?
