Auditions at Skylight Music Theatre

Skylight Songbook and KidsWrites Touring Production Auditions

THURSDAY, AUGUST 15; 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

The auditions will take place at the Broadway Theater Center, 158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee WI 53202.

Every season, Skylight Music Theatre tours two productions to southeastern Wisconsin elementary and middle schools!

The Skylight Songbook is a show that introduces younger audience members K-3rd to the building blocks of music through a playful exploration of musical theatre repertoire!

KidsWrites is an original music revue that culminates from a series of writing workshops with 4th-7th grade MPS students! Twenty or so pieces are selected out of around 1,400 pieces of student writing to be transformed into a show based on the annual theme. Some pieces are turned into original songs by professional composers, and the others are shaped into spoken word pieces and storytelling!
